William Michael Welch, CWCA, TRIP

Just to make life slightly more confusing, William actually goes by his middle name Michael. You can blame his parents for this—he does. Throughout an eclectic career, Michael has owned his own company, been a risk adviser for insurance, as well as managed the division of a company that worked with the embassies in D.C. His experiences have earned him the reputation of being a straight shooter and an expert in many fields.

Michael started in the insurance field in 2013. This path led him to Coverage Inc., where he specializes in medium to large businesses, with a focus on heavy construction and transportation. Michael has a proclivity for transportation and the knowledge to insure it well given his experience with his family’s generations-old trucking company, which claimed the title of oldest in New York.

Outside of work Michael enjoys spending time with his amazing wife and two dogs. He also enjoys golf, shooting clays, cars, watches, and a glass of scotch with a fine cigar.
